Description

The role involves acting as a key liaison between business departments and the development team to identify opportunities for process improvement and define application functionality. The Business Analyst is responsible for communicating user needs, advising on user interface flow, conducting quality assurance, and ensuring that software solutions meet business requirements and enhance end-user services.

Responsibilities

• Communication & Delivery: Identify work shortfalls, advise developers on application workflow and UI, and participate in testing throughout the project lifecycle
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance tests, regression testing, and supervise group testing of applications
• Documentation & Design: Create wireframes and mock-ups, and contribute to user manuals and marketing content for applications
• Time Management: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and anticipate potential delays
• Customer Care: Ensure customer needs are a primary focus, manage expectations, and follow up to exceed service delivery expectations
• Collaboration: Engage in cross-functional collaboration, drive a culture of inclusivity and adaptability, and creatively overcome challenges

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Business Analysis, or a Certificate in a BA-related field
• Experience: 2 – 3 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field
• Required Experience: Must have experience working on large-scale projects and handling day-to-day operational requests
• Knowledge: Understanding of Indices, fundamentals, and analytical data, returns level data, etc
• Technical Skills (Advantageous): Data analysis – SQL and Microsoft Excel
